

By performing statistical 3D tolerance simulations of products or assemblies we calculate the geometric variations of the optical or functional quality key characteristics like gap, flush and clearance under consideration of the relevant tolerances of all single parts, fixtures and assembly processes.Besides the calculation of the variations, their contributors and the statistical key figures our service includes further contents:
- Checking the tolerancing with regard to completeness, clearness and reasonability under consideration of the datums and datum reference systems
- Checking and reviewing the alignment concept in terms of the calculated variations
- Checking and reviewing the assembly sequence with respect to the calculated variations
In the case of mechanisms the tolerance analysis covers not only just a particular position but the whole motion cycle if requested by the customer.
As requested, the tolerance analysis can be extended by additional activities:
