Through flow simulations of single-phase and multi-phase fluids, we can determine flow speeds, flow distribution and pressure losses. We provide these services in one- to three-dimensional geometric models.
A glance at our project track record shows the diversity of our services in this area:
- Increasing the compressed air throughput in a pipe manifold with CATIA for geometry and ANSYS CFX for modeling and calculating the flow characteristics.
- Flow analysis of coolers and heat exchangers including comparing existing heat exchanger structures, the development of new concepts and structures for heat exchangers and flow distribution checks for coolants in water coolers.
- Determining and verifying the causes of damage to a cylinder head and working out the phenomenology of the failure through simulation, taking into consideration the transient thermal stress when approaching various load points.
- development of optimum streams for a homogenous distribution of air in the passenger compartment.
- load change calculation.
- use of OpenFOAM.
Projects like these are good examples of the various ways in which we can help you in determining, simulating and optimizing flow characteristics.
