The consumption and CO2 emissions requirements of modern vehicles are becoming ever more stringent but customers don't want to compromise on performance and enjoyment. We use parametric CAE tools to calculate and optimize vehicles' performance and consumption figures.

Global vehicle objectives are broken down to individual sub-systems and attributes for this purpose. This includes for example electrical consumers, gearshifting strategies for automatic gearboxes or weight. Development specifications for sub-systems allow consumption and therefore CO2 emissions to be reduced yet further and performance to be improved at the same time.
