We use CAE simulations and tests on the test rig to ensure the static, dynamic and permanent strength of aircraft structures, focusing on the principle of 'safety first'.
One example is endurance strength testing, in which we use hydraulic cylinders to simulate the real loads that are also applied in CAE simulations. Transferring individual forces is a relatively simple matter. But using hydraulic cylinders to simulate aerodynamic surface loads, for example, such that the structural load closely reflects real load, demands professional know-how. In particular, it requires an in-depth understanding of load curves and the interaction of section force curves in the wings, fuselage, vertical tail and other components – in a multitude of possible loading conditions and combinations of these.
IndustrieHansa has this interdisciplinary know-how at its fingertips. Whenever we handle a project we utilize specific tools developed in-house, the knowledge of our experienced engineers, and the synergies from our Network of Competence in the various fields in which our clients operate.
