Hazard and risk analyses

According to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG, any company that wants to launch a machine on to the market is obliged, during the design phase, to carry out a hazard analysis to identify all possible hazards associated with the machine.

Our specialists

  • are familiar with the requirements of the Machinery Directive
  • can provide expert advice in this area
  • can perform the necessary analyses.

These analyses form the basis of the risk assessment, which is an essential component of the specification to which the machine is then built with reference to the results. Compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive is a prerequisite for CE conformity, which demonstrates that a machine meets the relevant EC directives.
