Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analyses

Detailed numerical calculations of the flow inside a component allow us to calculate very accurately the fluid and thermal effects determined by the component geometry.

In this area we focus on the following key aspects:

  • Production of models with structured and non-structured meshes
  • Moving and non-moving meshes in turbo-engines
  • Compressible and non-compressible flows
  • Steady-state and transient flows
  • Heat transfer as interaction between fluid and structure (fluid-structure interaction, multiphysics)
  • Internal and external flow patterns
  • Assessment and evaluation of calculation results in consultation with the customer
  • Documentation in line with the customer's specifications

Our engineers use systems such as ICEM CFD, Hypermesh, Ansys CFX, STAR-CD and Fluent.
