Multi-body simulation (MBS)

Kinematic systems are encountered in many different forms in energy technology. Multi-body simulation is an effective method of calculating the dynamic behavior of complex technical systems and analyzing systems from a time and frequency standpoint.

In this area we:

  • draw up kinematic and kinetic analyses of complex multi-body systems
  • calculate dynamic component stresses
  • prepare dynamic load assumptions for FEM
  • identify design deficiencies in complex assemblies and
  • link MBS with FEM.

The tools we use for these tasks are LMS and Adams.
