We carry out statically linear and statically non-linear structural examinations to calculate rigidity, stress and deformation levels with the help of the finite element method (FEM). We use both elastic and plastic material models for this. Even highly non-linear contact calculations such as examining pre-stressed screw connections pose no problem for us. Throughout the calculation process we place great emphasis on the quality of the evaluation and documentation of our calculation results.
Our range of services for the evaluation of calculation results:
- Evaluation of flange calculations using DIN EN 1591 and evaluation of screw connections using VDI 2230
- Examination of density (ovalization, sufficient contact pressure)
- Design optimizations in multiple calculation stages, incorporating the design and observance of production feasibility in the respective product area
- Static strength design of parts and assemblies based on the company's own design philosophies and/or appropriate standards, such as Eurocode, FKM, DIN, DIN EN etc.
- Lifetime analyses (HCF, LCF) according to the FKM guideline, the Manson-Coffin / Neuber method or relevant standards
- Weld seam configuration according to the nominal stress, structural stress and/or notch stress concept
- Mathematical proofs according to insurance industry guidelines (Industriforsikring, Germanischer Lloyd, etc.) and testing institutions (TÜV, DNV etc.) and production of the necessary documentation
- Consultancy and collaboration in the production of internal sets of standards and standard parts
For all our services in this field we primarily use tools such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, Marc/Mentat, Nastran/Patran, Pro/MECHANICA and ROHR 2.
