A new branch opens in Shenyang

Munich. IndustrieHansa Consulting & Engineering GmbH located in Munich further expands its activities in Asia. Next to the branch opened 2009 in Shanghai the company continues its growth in this region with opening the new location Shenyang

Already in the year 2002 the engineering service provider IndustrieHansa created the basis for the localisation of the service portfolio for the Chinese market. At this moment the company already planned production and logistic processes for a CKD plant of a German car manufacturer in Shenyang/China. With the expansion towards a new full plant, the erection of new assembly halls, the construction of a new plant in Shenyang/Tixie as well as an additional engine company the demand for engineering and consultancy services in the area of production and logistic planning increased at the same time.

In the context of the growth and internationalization strategy IndustrieHansa Consulting & Engineering (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. opened its headquarter in Asia in Shanghai in the year 2009, in order to create the basis for building up a business and order processing in China.

Next to expatriates from Germany the company relies today especially on local support, mainly against the background of building up know-how as well as the increasing pressure of localisation for car manufacturers in China.

The continually growing requirement for the building up and the expansion of plant structures in the greater Shenyang area lead the company towards „the next logical step for the erection of a further centre of excellence for production and logistic planning in close proximity to the customer“, as managing director Claus Drexl says. In the form of a “grand opening” IndustrieHansa opened together with partners and guests from the automotive industry the new premises in the L’Avenue Office Tower in the heart of Shenyang on November 9^th 2011. 

Therewith IndustrieHansa is in a position to integrate and support local experts in planning projects in Shanghai as well as in Shenyang. „The processing of orders purely located in China completes our Network of Competence according to the strategy of our automotive customers to produce, where the vehicles are bought,” explained Claus Drexl on the fringes of the opening ceremonies and clarified, that IndustrieHansa wishes to further expand this market position in this part of the world in the coming years.
