320 new jobs created – Expansion continues

Munich. IndustrieHansa Consulting and Engineering GmbH, with its head office in Munich, created around 320 new jobs in the 2010 financial year. The total number of employees has therefore increased to 1000 engineers, designers, technicians and IT specialists. The company had already announced similar plans halfway through the year, plans that were realised just as they had been announced by the end of the year. Nadine Hansert, holder of a diploma in business studies, was pleased to receive hearty congratulations for becoming the company’s 1000th employee. She works in the Stuttgart/Fellbach office as logistics planner for international projects.

IndustrieHansa wants to continue its growth trend into 2011 and again increase both turnover and the number of its employees. “This brings us one step closer to our planned target of joining the top 10 of German engineering service providers by 2015, states manager Johann Egler.Besides an increase in turnover and job creation, further initiatives in support of further expansion underline how Industriehansa is pursuing this trend:

  • New Technology Centre in Munich: In close proximity to the Research and Innovation Centre (RIC) of BMW AG, a new technology centre was purchased as the new headquarters for all the central divisions and business areas of IndustrieHansa at the beginning of March 2011.
  • Expansion abroad: The expansion into foreign markets showing strong growth was continued with the establishment of new branches in China (Shanghai) and in the USA (Atlanta).
  • Extension of the German office network: New branches were opened in Rüsselsheim and Leipzig and existing offices have been expanded in Cologne and Wolfsburg.
  • Joint Venture with French partner: Together with the French engineering and consulting group SEGULA Technologies a joint venture has been established which combines all the aviation activities of both companies. This is intended to promote the aviation and aerospace market in France, Germany, Spain and Russian and stimulate international reaction to tender invitations from customers such as EADS, Airbus, Eurocopter and others.
  • Takeovers: With Duisburger Ingenieurbüro Bockholt (IBB), another company has been taken over and the commitment in the energy industry has therefore been reinforced by a 30-member team of specialists.

“We are very well placed to meet the increasing demand of the industry for high quality engineering services”, declares manager Johann Egler. He sees opportunities for growth not only within Germany but also abroad. Besides North America and Asia, the Latin American markets are being brought into the focus of IndustrieHansa and its joint venture with SEGULA here.
