Introduction
Turbine components require specially manufactured tools and resources. Ergonomics and maximum precision which do not allow the blade elements to be damaged under any circumstances are required when assembling, disassembling and transporting sub-assemblies.

Given these facts, a leading international manufacturer of power plant engineering and energy plant constructor assigned IndustrieHansa to develop a new lifting fixture for turbine components.

Solution: Once the current lifting concept had been analyzed, an optimized lifting fixture was drafted and designed. Handling and workplace ergonomics were taken into account.
