Introduction
Automotive development staff need to wade through an ever expanding workload of crash tests in order to satisfy an ever increasing number of statutory requirements for crash safety and a growing number of market-specific peculiarities in these requirements in Europe, the US, Japan and increasingly Australia and China. This led to an important OEM from southern Germany deploying external expertise and resources in this area to work alongside in-house staff.
